Wallpops Review

Wallpops isn't a "Nontoxic" item for the home, but something that I decided to indulge in once I got my walls all cleaned with my first homemade cleaner.

to admit,  I didn't need to wait more than 1 night to know I'm in LOVE with these pillows!!
Mr. NTH loves them as well. They are SO well made and just the right amount of fluffy. I can
tell that they're going to last a really long time.  I'm really very thankful to have won such an
amazing prize!

SnackTAXI (Perfect for lunch boxes!)

It has always been important to me to reduce waste; to reuse and recycle. It's how I was raised and it's what we teach our children.

Our oldest daughter is starting Kindergarten this Fall, and I keep thinking about how to make her lunches less wasteful. I can just imagine a landfill made up solely of ziplock baggies.  *cringe*

I've been looking for lunch and snack time re-usable’s for a couple of weeks now, and many of the options aren't marketed as BPA free (or free of any other toxins for that matter). That's an issue for us. A lot of containers seem to be bulky also, which is ok I suppose but not ideal. Before she even makes it to school, we have a summer packed of picnics with some day trips planned in so we need to find something that meets the criteria of the Non-Toxic Hammer's.

Well, I am pleased to say, I had the opportunity to review SnackTAXI brand re-usable sandwich size sack as well as their snack size sack and not just that, but also share a pair with one lucky reader. :]

SKOY Cloth - 100% Biodegradable

Reducing waste and reusing materials is a big part of our lifestyle, it also helps keep our carbon footprint a cute size ;)

Did you know that a single sheet of paper towel can take up to 4 weeks to decompose in a landfill, and a regular kitchen sponge can take about a year to decompose entirely? There are 2.5 million tons of paper towels thrown in our landfills every year. Imagine the waste, the transportation costs, and the overall effects on our environment!

So, what should we clean with? Well, I thought it would be a smart start to look into materials that are 100 % biodegradable. After some research, we happened upon SKOY cloth and were given the opportunity to check them out.
